Applications are invited from the candidates having domicile of Sindh Province against the following vacant posts of Prison Constable / Lady Prison Constable ( BPS - 05 ) in Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service

1- Prison Constable (BS-05) / No. of Posts 1258

Qualification:

• Matriculation from a recognized board of secondary education.

Physical criteria Qualification: -  

• Height: 5 Feet 5 Inches.
• Chest: Minimum 33 inches with a 1.5-inch expansion. 
• Running: 1600 meters in 07 minutes.

2- Lady Prison Constable (BS-05) / No. of Posts 97

Qualification: - 

• Matriculation from a recognized board of secondary education 

Physical Criteria : 

• Height: 5 Feet 
• With Sound Health
• Walking: 800 meters in 14 minutes

Term and Conditions:

1. Application form along with the deposit slip can be downloaded from PTS Website www.pts.org.pk.

2. The application should not be accompanied by any document. All candidates shall sign a declaration that all information provided by him is correct.

3. The actual verification of original certificates will only be done in respect of candidates who are called for an " Interview and any applicant having made an incorrect/false declaration shall stand disqualified automatically at any stage. 

4. Candidates already in Government Service fulfilling the condition of eligibility criteria can also apply.

5. No application shall be entertained after the last date of submission of the application. 

6. Incomplete application shall not be entertained. 

7. Candidates qualified in the physical test shall only be called for a written test by PTS. Test venue and date shall be communicated separately.

 8. Date, time & venue of all tests shall also be intimated later through SMS and call letters on the website from PTS. 

9. No TA / DA will be given for the test/interview. 

10. Minority Quota shall be observed as per the policy of the Government of Sindh. 

11. No relaxation in the upper age limit is allowed. 

12. The applicants can be posted anywhere in Sindh. 

13. Test fee is non - refundable/non - transferable.

14. Sindh Prisons & Corrections Service have the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies. Last Date 22-08-2022.

•  Pay the prescribed test fee in any of the countrywide online branches of HBL and UBL and fill up the Application form properly. 
• Please send the filled-up Application Form along with a paid copy of the PTS Deposit Slip in original to PTS Headquarters, 3rd Floor, Adeel Plaza, Fazl - e - Haq Road, Blue Area, Islamabad. 
• PTS shall not be held responsible for late delivery of application forms through Post/courier services.
• Application Forms improperly filled-up, incomplete without paid copy of deposit slip, " handwritten post where an option for selection of post is already available and submitted by hand will not be entertained.
• The last Date for Submission of the Application Form is 22-08-2022 
• Application Received after Expiry of the Last Date, will not be entertained & shall stand ineligible.

Mega Millions Jackpot Lottery Numbers for $1.28 billion draws

Mega Millions Drawing for Friday, 29-07-2022 worth $1.28 billion with a jackpot. In history, it's the most significant jackpot Mega Millions of the year.

As of Friday, the Mega Millions jackpot has grown to an estimated $1.28 billion, and it would be the second-largest in the game's 20-year history and the third-largest of any U.S. lottery game, according to the game's website.

The record for the Mega Millions jackpot is $1.537 billion, won by a ticket sold in South Carolina in 2018. It remains the second largest jackpot for any lottery game, and it is the world's largest lottery prize with just one ticket, according to MegaMillions.

The largest jackpot of any US lottery game was $1.586 billion -- a Powerball prize from January 13, 2016, shared by winners in California, Florida, and Tennessee.

Timothy Schultz, who won the $28 million Powerball jackpot in 1999 and now hosts a lottery podcast, said winning "can change your life."

He said after checking his numbers in the newspaper and realizing he had won, the first calls he made were from some lawyers and financial advisers.

"It can change a lot, relationships, your ability to live," he said. "I think it can buy time, which can be invaluable. And, you know, it's one of the most real life-changing things that can happen to somebody."

Working with a financial advisor will benefit those who have no experience with millions because an advisor will help winners understand what they can realistically do with the winnings, he said.

Schultz said he didn't consider himself materialistic before he won, so his most extravagant purchases were a few cars and real estate.

"I've found for myself and for many people I've met and interviewed that if you win the lottery jackpot it enhances, or can enhance, your personality. It's not necessarily who you are, It doesn't change," he said.

He said that while he rarely plays the lottery these days, he bought a ticket for Friday night's drawing.

MegaMillions jackpots start at $20 million for an annual prize and grow based on game sales and interest rates on 30-year U.S. Treasuries. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302,575,350.

There are seven other less valuable prizes that depend on how many and what kind of balls the ticket yields. The odds of winning the $1 million runner-up prize -- if the ticket matches five white balls but not the Mega Millions ball -- is 1 in 12,607,306.

Mega Millions of tickets are sold in all 45 states, Washington DC, and the US Virgin Islands with drawings on Tuesday and Friday. Tickets are sold online in Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and DC, but the buyer must be in that state.

Washington Nationals is ready to hear Juan Soto's trade offer after the $ 440 million deal has been rejected.

Washingtn Nationals have been the biggest deal in baseball history for 15 years, according to sources ready to hear Juan Soto's trade offer after the $440 million deal / contact was rejected. 

Soto told ESPN earlier this year that he had declined a $350 million bid for 13 years before the off-season blockade. He is eligible to become a free agent after the 2024 season.

However, some team officials can secure a long-term contract with Soto, according to the athletics team who first reported on the Nationals' recent rejected contract offer and Nationals' openness to potential transactions. I don't believe it anymore.

If Soto is considering an extension from the Nationals, it's one of the longest, and the highest annual average in the game, sources told ESPN. The $ 29.3 million annual offer from the Nationals ranks only 15th among players based on their 2022 salary.

The decision to hear Soto's potential deal represents a change in the Nationals' plans after the team said last month that it wouldn't move the 23-year-old star.

Buffalo Bills has signed Odell Beckham Jr. The Star WR

Buffalo Bills has an Odell Beckham Jr. open roster slot, but the wide receiver is still a free agent. The fake Bleacher Report account tweeted that Beckham Jr. has joined Bills.

The username for the account contains a "t" with a "t" inserted. Buffalo Bills has roster slots available, but Odell Beckham Jr. is not signed. 

 In today's social media world, big sites also have fake and modern accounts. For example, a fake Bleacher Report (B / R) account made Beckham Jr., commonly known as OBJ, believe he had joined Bills. The Fake Bleacher Report account tweeted that WR had joined Bills, and the mockup looked exactly like the B / R used as a graphic. 

 Last season, OBJ played in eight Los Angeles Rams regular season games, scoring five touchdowns. After all, the recipient further enhanced his game.
